Free Economic Zone “Balti” complies with legal security requirements and continuously strives to maintain a safe environment for the activity of its residents and its assets.
The security of the zone’s borders is provided by a specialized security company from the Republic of Moldova on the basis of contracts concluded with the zone’s administration.
The access of individuals and transport vehicles shall be carried out on the basis of the system of authorized crossing of the free zone borders, the functioning of which is established by Government Decision.
The security measures of the “Balti” FEZ also include:
- Security guard on the perimeter of the zone 24/24 hours, 7 days a week
- Customs post on the territory of the “Balti” FEZ, 24/24, 6 days a week
- Video surveillance on the entire perimeter of the FEZ
- Permit-based access for residents
- Secure isolation of the FEZ territory from the rest of the country
- Violation of the security measures of the free economic zone (unauthorized entry of persons and unauthorized entry of goods into the territory of the zone) entails penalties according to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
